About Monica

Hi, I’m Monica.
For a long time, I thought being a good woman meant being easy to love.
I was the one who tried to keep the peace, be understanding, avoid conflict, and make things easier for everyone around me. I learned to put my own needs aside, second-guess myself, and stay quiet when speaking up felt like it might cost me the love or approval of someone else.
From the outside, I was functioning. But somewhere along the way, I had lost touch with myself.
It took me 20 years to wake up to what I had been living with and begin to understand how much of myself I’d abandoned trying to make things work.
That awakening changed my life.
I began to see that the problem wasn’t that I wasn’t capable, strong, or deserving. It was that I’d learned to measure myself through other people’s eyes. I’d spent so much time trying to be who I thought I needed to be that I’d forgotten I was allowed to be me.
My journey back to myself wasn’t about becoming someone new. It was about questioning the beliefs I’d carried for years, finding my voice again, and learning to trust myself. And my faith in God has been a huge part of that journey.
Today, through The Power of Good Enough, I share what I’ve learned to help other women do the same.
Because I know what it’s like to question yourself, to be afraid of disappointing people, to struggle to speak up, and to wonder why you can do so much for everyone else but still struggle to believe in yourself.
You don’t have to spend another 20 years living that way.
My hope is that you begin to see yourself differently. That you stop making your worth negotiable. That you learn to honor what you feel, trust your decisions, speak up even when your voice shakes, and stop abandoning yourself to keep someone else comfortable.
You were never required to become less of yourself to deserve love.
I’m here to remind you of that.
With love,
Monica
